Micromouse projects can be expensive (US$1000 and more),
although they can also be
quite inexpensive (between US$200 to US$250).
The actual expense depends on your design philosophy
and expertise. More expertise tend to lower the cost because materials
and tools are better utilized.
A typical project will cost about $200 to $500 if tools and materials
are not readily available. A team must have all members agreeing to a
budget before starting on a project. Otherwise, if a team runs out of
budget in the middle of a project and have members disagree on how to
proceed, it can potentially kill the project and turn members against
each other.
