Parallel walls an appear and disappear as a robot travels. The
transitions can be used for a robot to resynchronize its location in
the maze. Even a path with just pegs will provide sufficient
clues to resynchronize. The worst configuration is a straight
``corridor'' with just contiguous walls and no perpendicular walls
even on the other side of the walls.
