Getting some Tools

Two sets of command line tools are very useful. First, http://www.argyllcms.com/ has command line tools that you can use to process a target image and general profiles. Next, http://www.littlecms.com has a set of tools generally useful for color space management (like conversion from one space to another).

These command line tools are free and cross platform. You can download executable files for your platform (Windows, Linux-x86, Mac OS X).
